HAMILTON 1928 Tonneau Engraved Watch Grade 987

The Tonneau was produced from 1927 through 1932, it was one of the early geometric models (like the Cushion, Barrel, Square, etc.) named because of it's shape. "In the late 1920's many of Hamilton watches were called 'geometrics' where the models were named based on their shape."

This STUNNING timepiece is a Hamilton Tonneau Engraved wristwatch dated from 1928. It is a manual wind watch featuring Hamilton's 17 jewels, 6/0 sized, grade 987 movement, sub second.

After +95 years, it still has a immaculate tonneau case and fancy lugs design, beautiful engraved case and bezel. The top and bottom of the case is curved and the sides are flat. All 14K white gold filled.

This watch still has an almost perfect silver aged and luminous dial, black enamel dialed and Arabic Numerals and matching hands. You still can see that the dial is signed with Hamilton name.

It is coming with a brand new black leather strap. This watch is in good condition, it is a very attractive looking watch, good sized and wears very well on the wrist. Runs very well and keeps great time! Just SERVICED!

Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust light, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
